update

i havent updated for a while so i decided to. thanksgiving, christmas and new years eve were fun for us. we took a trip to new jersey for new years to visit family. we got to met hailey, my sister karissa's new baby and hunter loved to take her socks off and touch her face it was so cute. we all had alot of fun. hunter got his first tooth the tuesday after christmas and we are still waiting for it to finish coming in all the way. hunter is sitting up on his own now and he loves to play with his toys. his favorite thing to do is say "mum mum" when he wants something and he says ba ba ba, and ga ga, and he loves to blow raspberrys. he also is very exciting that he can drink out of a straw now. he decided he doesnt like to take a bottle any more and likes his milk in a cup with a straw, he just goes to town with that.

Aren't I cute?? This weekend has been alot of fun. Hunters first halloween was interesting. Of course he was spiderman! His pumpkin was about twice his size. But he seemed to like it. We went trick-or-treating at grandmas house and around her neighborhood. We also went to see some of my friends from work. It starting raining while we were out trick-or-treating. Once we were home mom and dad had some chili and we watched the legend of sleepy hollow. On Saturday (today) I couldn't wait any longer and gave in and started him on solid foods. He had his first rice cereal feeding. It went really well. Some of it was spit out, but he seemed to like it alot and ate alot more then i thought he would. yeah!!! now we get to eat real foods!! He is growing up so fast!





He was so ready to eat solid foods. He loved to rice cereal. The first feeding went better then I thought it would.

Mommy had a hard time waiting to start solid food at 6 months. So we started a little early. This is the first time Hunter is being offered rice cereal. This is the morning after halloween.
After trick or treating Hunter decided he wanted to learn how to stand. This was a first.

Hunter and I went to visit family in new jersey last weekend. we went for karissa's suprise baby shower. Here are some pictures of the shower, spending time with family members, and the trip to the play ground with uncle lucas and grandma wendy.

octoberfest

on sept 9th we went to snowbird ski resort for octoberfest. We went with Jon's mom and stepdad and brother and great grandma and Heinz were there also. We had fun listen to german music, eating brats and drinking hot chocolate. We had to bundle up to stay warm! Isn't Hunter cute!!

Today was the first snow fall of the year. We woke up and the ground, trees, and houses were covered in snow. As soon as Hunter woke up we went outside to show him the snow for the first time. We got some cute pictures! Hunter is 4 1/2 months old now and weighs 12 pounds. We are all getting over a cold and starting to feel better! Hunter can roll over back to front now and loves to laugh and giggle and drool everywhere. He is so fun!

we had so much fun today at the state fair!! I loved to see the white tigers!!
